However, there’s one thing that makes Dare 2 Share LIVE more valuable than your typical youth conference. After students learn the importance and strategy behind Gospel sharing, they get to go out and actually try it within their communities. This builds up their confidence and passion for sharing their faith. Students often come back overjoyed at the remarkable transformations they witnessed through their boldness and the power of the Gospel message.
Here’s a breakdown of how this actually unfolds within the event:
First:
Students will engage in video training sessions featuring multiple speakers, practice conducting Gospel conversations, and dedicate time to prayer.
Second:
Students will partake in an outreach activity organized by their youth group leader, where they will actively share the Gospel.
Third:
Students will return and celebrate the impactful events that unfolded during the outreach time by sharing their experiences and reflecting on them.
The prospect of planning an outreach activity may seem daunting, but don’t sweat it. It can be as straightforward as distributing water bottles or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches while sharing the Gospel. Alternatively, you can elevate the experience by collaborating with a local soup kitchen or another outreach organization. The allotted time frame provides flexibility, allowing your group to synchronize their Gospel-sharing efforts with groups across the nation or around the world. But, if you prefer to extend the experience over multiple days or choose a different date, you can totally do that too.
The beauty of Dare 2 Share LIVE this year is videos are pre-recorded and will drop to your inbox prior to the event so you can do the event whenever is best for you. However, participating on November 11th will allow your group to connect with other groups across the world joining at the same time. There will be a social wall students can post to and see what other groups are up to. Students will also have the chance to pray over different groups in other regions of the world!
