Gospel Advancing brings focus to
priorities & programs
Here is where you begin to truly integrate the 7 values into your youth ministry. It has now moved from a personal, and leader commitment, to an overall ministry approach that seeks to build disciples who are passionate about Jesus, His message, and reaching those who need to hear the Good News.
adjusting ministry programs
Now is when things start to get really exciting! Your ministry leaders are all in and now you have the foundation set for significant spiritual awakening within your youth.
As your ministry calendar, budget, weekly rundown, leadership development, and disciple multiplication efforts align around the common vision to see the Gospel advance, the Holy Spirit will do His work of deepening your teensā faith and drawing non-believers to Christ through your studentsā efforts.
Helpful Tools
Here are some resources to use in your programming to help grow a missional mindset within your youth.
Jesusā mission ā or Cause ā was to seek and save the lost. As His disciples, we are also called to take up that same Cause ā THE Cause ā that transcends all others. Take 5 for THE Cause. Simply put, take 5 minutes in the weekly rundown for students and leaders to share stories about their opportunities to talk with people about Jesus.
Having a clear, comprehensive Gospel message is critical. Weāve created an acrostic to help students (and adults!) remember the whole message so they can share the Good News of Jesus clearly.
This app is free, and it can help your group build a missional lifestyle. Not only can they use it to share the Gospel, but they can put people they want to know Christ in their Cause Circle to Pray, Care and Share Jesus with them. You can set up a group for all your teens and everyone can track what God is doing as they step out and share.
A national day of outreach for students. One day that will empower your students with a clear Gospel message and give them the chance to share it with their friends and their community. This is a great way to give your students a taste of what being on mission can be like, and a great way to engage your larger community for Christ.
