Commit to becoming a
Gospel Advancing Leader
The journey to building a ministry that is truly thriving – that advances the Gospel – starts with you!
The first phase of the journey is all about your commitment to becoming a leader who prays for the lost and who shares the Gospel with others. This may sound intimidating, but as you step into it, you will discover the joy of being a part of Christ’s mission to seek and save the lost.
begin where you are
Like everything else, youth ministry rises and falls on leadership. But take courage! A commitment to prayer and personally sharing your faith lays the foundation that will bring about transformation in your youth ministry.
Remember, you don’t have to be perfect, or have all the answers. You just need a passion for the lost and a clear Gospel message to share with them.
In addition to personally committing to prayer and sharing, you’ll want to spend time with Jesus prayerfully developing a bold, Gospel Advancing vision statement for your ministry.
Helpful Tools
Here are a couple of useful tools that can help keep you focused on prayer and relational evangelism.
GOSPEL Acrostic
Having a clear, comprehensive Gospel message is critical. We’ve created an acrostic to help students (and adults!) remember the whole message so they can share the Good News of Jesus clearly.
Life in 6 Words mobile app
A great tool that not only helps you share the Gospel with people in your own Cause Circle, but lets you set up groups so your whole youth group can join together to reach your schools and communities.
