Next, we’re going to share 10 things you can do in preparation for Dare 2 Share LIVE next week.

1 – PRAY

First and foremost, pray! Set a daily prayer alarm and pray for Dare 2 Share LIVE. Pray for your students who are going to be there. Pray for the lost people in your community, for the friends of your teens who will hear the Gospel.

2 – Put it on the calendar

Get Dare 2 Share LIVE on the calendar at your church. Invite your youth group students to participate and the adults to join you in prayer for 11/13/21.

3 – Decide your level of involvement

There are many different ways to customize the event for your unique context.

  • Stream it with your group – participate in the live stream with your group. All you need is an internet connection, adult leaders and plans for the outreach.
  • Make it more involved – you can make Dare 2 Share LIVE more interactive for your group by providing your own worship band and acting as emcee yourself.
  • Make it a community event – bring together other churches in your area to reach your community with the Gospel. Link together to start a teen-led movement of Gospel conversations.

4 – Plan your outreach activity

One of the most critical and exciting parts of Dare 2 Share LIVE is the outreach experience. Students will go out into their own communities to serve and share the message of Jesus. They get a chance to put feet to their faith and see God work firsthand!

Make your plans now and decide what your group will do do for outreach during the event. Use this PDF to spark some ideas for what you could do with your group.

5 – Join the Gospel Advancing Facebook Group

Join this online community of like-minded youth leaders to share ideas and youth ministry best practices. Many of these youth leaders are participating in Dare 2 Share LIVE this year and they have some great advice!

6 – Be active on social media

  • #whateverittakes

Be active in spreading the word and build momentum in your community before November 13.

7 – Get your students involved

Include your youth group in the planning and outreach ideas for the event. You’ll increase their buy-in and excitement to be part of the movement.

You can also include your students in promotion and social media, allow them to get creative!

8 – Get other churches involved

The church is strongest when it is united, and what better way to bring people together than advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Find ways to rally other groups and churches together in your community.

9 – Download the Life in 6 Words app

Train and equip your students to share the Gospel on the day of Dare 2 Share LIVE. Use the Life in 6 Words app to build that confidence to share the Gospel.

The Life in 6 Words app provides an interactive and engaging way to naturally initiate spiritual conversations. Student will use it on November 13th to walk someone through a clear message of the Gospel and the hope found in Jesus Christ!

10 – Have fun and be creative

This is YOUR community and YOUR students, be creative and make it an amazing experience for you and your church!

See you on Saturday November 13th! If you have any questions, schedule a call with a Dare 2 Share representative.
