Our first pivot was to add a new audio feature to our faith-sharing mobile app called Life in 6 Words.
We wanted users to be able to share the Gospel and their story even if they were isolated in quarantine.

In a second pivot, we developed a new curriculum series for youth leaders entitled, āYou Canāt Quarantine the Gospel.āĀ
The series helped thousands of leaders encourage and equip their teens with a message of hope in spite of their circumstances.
Gospel Advancing Council members spent three days of intense prayer, discussion and collaboration to refine strategies to reach the vision of every teen everywhere hearing the Gospel from a friend.
We also typically use our summer events to train international leaders.Ā So, with the in-person events cancelled, we needed to find an innovative way to equip these indigenous leaders as well.Ā That led to the development of a comprehensive digital learning course.

Pivot number three was a big one.Ā We had to figure out what to do about our week-long summer camps called Lead THE Cause.Ā Ā
We are so thankful that we made the decision to pivot completely to virtual by mid-April!Ā Making the decision in April gave us the time we needed to focus on programming a high-quality experience for every participant, no matter what COVID restriction they were experiencing in their state.

Due to the pandemic, physical locations had to be shut down and our first ever virtual LTC was held.
D2S live 2020
In October, we had our fourth annual multi-site simulcast called Dare 2 Share LIVE.Ā This is a one-day teen outreach event that is held simultaneously from coast-to-coast.Ā In hindsight, we see how God used Dare 2 Share LIVE over the last 3 years to prepare us for 2020.Ā Of course, we pivoted a bit in 2020 for this event tooā¦ But wow, how God provided!
