power of the Gospel & potential of teens

Welcome!

We’re so glad to meet you and that you’re taking some time to learn about what we do. We are Dare 2 Share, a Colorado-based ministry that has been around for over 30 years, and we’re only getting started…

OUR MISSION

Energizing the Church to mobilize youth to Gospelize their world

OUR VISION

Every teen, everywhere, hearing the Gospel from a friend

WHAT
WE DO

At Dare 2 Share Ministries, we have one main goal: to see the Gospel advanced and disciples made among todayā€™s youth.

It’s a tall order, but we know this isn’t just our heart and mission – it’s God’s! That’s why for three decades, we’ve been working to equip youth leaders to empower their students for relational evangelism. It’s a disciple-making cycle that turns youth ministries into Gospel Advancing ministries.

Here's our founder, Greg Stier, with more on who we are and what we do:

how
we
started

In 1991, a young pastor named Greg Stier had a vision to train teens to share the Gospel. After tragedy stuck with the Columbine High School shooting, that vision became an urgent rescue mission to reach as many teens as possible with the love of Jesus.

Dare 2 Share Ministries is co-founded by Greg Stier and Jonathan Smith with the mission to train teens to share the Gospel.

Our first evangelism training conferences for students are held. Over the next 25 years, conferences grow in scale to include national tours of 11 cities and 50,000 teens trained in a single year

Debbie Bresina, the current President of Dare 2 Share, joins the ministry first as a volunteer and then as the first full time employee.

The Columbine High School shooting happens on April 20th just minutes from Dare 2 Shareā€™s offices. The tragedy, that left 15 dead, prompts Greg Stier to resign from a local pastoral position and lead D2S full time

Lead THE Cause launches as a full-week summer training for students and leaders to cultivate and spread a Gospel movement.

Following an in-depth research study, Greg Stier publishes Gospelize Your Youth Ministry, setting the stage for the Gospel Advancing movement to transform youth ministries around the country. Debbie Bresina also becomes the President of Dare 2 Share.

The Dare 2 Share mission statement is revised to make way for global impact, ā€œEnergizing the Church to Mobilize youth to Gospelize their world!ā€

The ministry transitions from in-person conferences to Dare 2 Share LIVE, a one-day simulcast event that brings teen evangelism training to locations across the globe.

The Life in 6 Words app is relaunched with Gospel-sharing tools and features that paved the way for the app and G.O.S.P.E.L. acrostic to be translated and contextualized in 25+ of the worldā€™s top languages.

Lead THE Cause Virtual provides evangelism and disciple-multiplication training to students across the U.S. from their homes during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dare 2 Share hosts the first Gospel Advancing Summit in Golden, CO with leaders who will multiply the movement in their own community and around the world.

President, Focus on the Family

It's life changing for sure. You get a whole new perspective on life and you really learn how to be a disciple of God. And you learn how to help others understand this life we have through Christ.
