When was the last time something amazing happened to you?

Have you had any moments or experiences lately that have caused you “great surprise or wonder”?
Is there any element of your life that is just. flat. ASTONISHING?
Amazing moments happen every day, you know. There are shooting stars and babies born and stunning sunsets and a thousand other breathtaking realities happening on this giant ball that is spinning at a thousand miles per hour around a star burning at 10 million degrees.
Amazing – right?
Then there is you—
Did you know…
A cubic inch of human bone is strong enought to bear a load of 19,000 lbs. – making it roughly four times as strong as concrete.²
The total length of all the capillaries in your body is over 50,000 miles, enough to go around the earth twice?³

Whoa!
But to be honest, all these facts and a million more like them combined simply pale in comparison to the moment when a lost and lonely soul turns to Jesus Christ for salvation, and he or she is born again into a life of forgiveness, acceptance, meaning, value and unconditional love.
What is more amazing than saying “yes” to the Savior who chose to die rather than live without us? And if that isn’t astonishing enough, check this out: “I tell you the truth, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents” (Luke 15:10).
The word Jesus uses for “joy” in this verse literally means “an occasion that calls for celebration.” Can you believe that? Jesus is saying that when someone trusts in Him for salvation, the angels in heaven throw a party!
By the way, wouldn’t it also be something amazing if we were members of the party-planning committee for the angelic hosts? I sure think so, and now I’ll let you in on how we can join in the heavenly festivities.

So are you ready to start adding some amazing moments to your life? Then join in THE Cause and get the word out about www.somethingamazing.net. Post it to your timeline, tweet it, text it, e-mail it, or just plain bring it up with your friends the next time you have a face-to-face conversation.
Be sure and follow up, though, because an opportunity like this doesn’t come along every day. Ask your friends what they thought about the video, and if/when they trust in Jesus for salvation, set up some times when you can get together with them and check out the Ignition Seven series that will get them started in following Jesus.

Pray: Father, please come in power and show Your glory through this Kingdom effort with something amazing. I pray that many people will put their trust in Jesus Christ for their Savior through my efforts and the power of the Spirit.
