Jonathan came to Christ when he was just a kid. He grew up knowing the basics of faith, but when he attended a Dare 2 Share conference in 5th grade, something clicked. He realized there was so much more to the story, and that the Gospel wasn’t just for him, it was meant to be shared.
That realization sparked a calling. Jonathan felt compelled to live on mission, to reach others, and to be a light in their lives.
Back home, that passion came alive in his youth ministry. He didn’t just show up to events; he looked for opportunities to share the hope he had found in Christ.
Jonathan sent his friend Adrian a letter during Lead THE Cause, and it changed Adrian’s life forever. He eventually reached out to Jonathon and his pastor Nathan and placed his faith in Christ. Adrian stated: “If it wasn’t for Jonathan and Nathan, I’d probably be another number, another date, I’d probably be another casket.”
From that moment on, Jonathan’s fire for youth ministry only grew stronger.
From high school to college, Jonathan has lived on mission wherever God places him. His story proves the impact one student can have when they embrace their calling and shine their light.
