breakout sessions

Learn how to take Gospel Advancing ministry beyond the four walls of your church and include other youth leaders and churches in reaching every teen in your community with the Gospel. We’ll go over the 6 key elements that must be included in an effective network meeting, as well as how to start a Gospel Advancing network.

In the process of His four-year ministry, Jesus realized that different people are at different stages of growth and development, and He worked to challenge each of them to the next level. In 4 Chair Discipling, you’ll get a clear and simple picture of how to follow in Jesus’ footsteps and do the same thing.

Based on our 30-plus years of ministry experience, we will share the “Dare 2 Share formula” for delivering high-quality and impactful training. Whether you want to improve your Wednesday night delivery to your students or you want to get better at training other youth leaders in Gospel Advancing, you’ll learn how to take every sermon and presentation to the next level.

Learn how to improve your own leadership style by being reminded of some basic leadership principles from Jesus’ life, rooted in Luke 2:52. We’ll focus on mental, physical, spiritual, and relational disciplines that will strengthen our personal leadership.

We want both things to be true of our students: that they are growing deep in their relationship with Jesus Christ and that they are sharing the Gospel with their friends. Learn some best practices from our friends at Word of Life, who consistently live out their vision of every teen, everywhere, hearing the Gospel from a friend and every teen in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Starting with the end in mind, imagine what a maturing and devoted teenager could look like as he or she graduates from your youth ministry. We’ll spend time mapping out this spiritual growth trajectory of your students as we consider the inputs, activities, outputs, outcomes, and impact of our youth ministries.

Implementing Gospel Advancing is an exciting journey, but it shouldn’t be done in a silo. Don’t outpace your leadership and your church by missing the opportunity to get them excited and on board with your Gospel Advancing ministry plans. Learn principles and ideas to get parents, church leaders, and the senior leadership of your church aligned with your Gospel Advancing efforts.

“Leaders fully embrace and model it” isn’t just for your adult leaders. We will look at best practices of inspiring, equipping, and empowering the student leaders in your youth group to lead the way for Gospel Advancing within your ministry. They don’t just need to be led by you -they can also lead with you.

Learn how to find the “scarlet cord” in every passage, make a “salvation segue,” give the Gospel C.L.E.A.R.ly, and then give the call effectively in every talk.

Most of your students spend the vast majority of their time at school. Learn how to equip them to lead the cause of Christ in their circles of influences. You’ll come away with creative (and correct) ways they can lead this mission on their middle school and high school campuses.
