What, you may ask, even is a Gospel Advancing ministry? Good question.

We define it like this: A Gospel Advancing ministry is a powerful, biblical, practical way of growing passionate Jesus-followers who are on a mission to spread the Gospel.

And we believe itā€™s most definitely worth the time and effort it takes to implement for one key reason: It enables your ministry to fulfill Jesusā€™s final mandate for all believers: ā€œā€¦to go and make disciples of all nationsā€¦teaching them to obey everything I commanded youā€ (Matthew 28:19-20).

Itā€™s built on 7 Valuesā€”values that we didnā€™t create but rather discovered. We found them both in the Bible itself and in successful ministries from the early Church to today.

Over and over again, theyā€™ve shown themselves to be true in these ways:

SCRIPTURALLY

If you study the Gospels and the book of Acts, youā€™ll find they affirm these same 7 Values. Itā€™s clear in the Scriptures that the Gospel is the secret to effective and exciting ministry and that God repeatedly uses these 7 Values to advance His Kingdom.

STATISTICALLY

Dare 2 Share commissioned a national research project that evaluated the effectiveness of youth ministries. About 10% of those surveyed had 25% annual growth (or more) due to non-Christian teens putting their faith in Jesus. The research showed that all of these highest-performing youth ministries lived out these 7 Values.

STRATEGICALLY

Our founder, Greg Stier, has spent 30+ years in ministry. Heā€™s spoken with thousands of youth ministry leaders and observed that all of the healthiest and most vibrant ministries use these values.

Are you impressed with our ability to find passionate, powerful, purposeful points all starting with the same letter? But seriously, arenā€™t those incredible reasons to make the values an important part of your strategy?
