“I get it. It finally clicked!” said one of my soon-to-be seniors in July at a late night debrief meeting during our Lead THE Cause urban missions trip.
To that, I asked what most pastors would, “What did they say?”
The teen responded, “No, Brandon. It’s not what they said. You have trained us on ‘the Four Chairs’ (a discipling strategy by Sonlife), THE Cause Circle and the GOSPEL acrostic and we have been to Dare 2 Share conferences before. I just get it now. I finally feel equipped and confident enough to reach and disciple my friends!”
I am inviting my entire youth ministry, adult leaders in my church, and other youth ministries in my community to Dare 2 Share LIVE because I want the “I get it” light bulb moment to happen to many more students in my community.
I believe that the way Jesus went about His mission — using people to reach people, or in my case using teens to reach teens — is still the most effective way to reach teens for Christ. I believe Dare 2 Share LIVE will equip and unleash my teens to reach their peers for Christ.
