Lead THE Cause 2025 was unforgettable.
Across one powerful week, students caught a vision to share Jesus with clarity and courage. By the end, 405 students and 14 global leaders recorded 1,628 Gospel conversations, resulting in 84 first-time decisions for Christ, with even more conversations happening as travelers headed home through airports and rest stops!
Students and leaders were equipped to articulate the Gospel, strengthened in their walk with God, and sent into Denver to serve, listen, and share.
Each day had a different focus: Prayer, Care, Share, and Dare.
- For prayer day, students visited Columbine High School, the site of the 1999 tragedy, to pray for their own schools and communities. It was a solemn moment that deepened compassion and urgency for reaching peers with the hope of Jesus.
- For care day, groups partnered with the Denver Dream Center, serving the community by helping provide clothing and food for those in need. Students experienced loving neighbors in practical ways that reflect the heart of the Gospel.
- For share day, groups went to different parts of the city to share the Gospel with strangers. Many students had their first clear Gospel conversation and discovered new confidence to share their faith with compassion and confidence.
- On the final day, teams built a strategic action plan to carry momentum home.
It was an incredible week! Students left activated to bring the Gospel back to their peers and communities.
This year’s event theme was FIRESTARTER based on Isaiah 6. It was amazing to see students embrace the fires of God’s holiness, forgiveness, call and mission, as they learned from speakers Greg Stier, Zane Black, and Jerrod Gunter.
