At Lead THE Cause (LTC) 2024, our week-long summer camp intensive, 450 students and leaders gathered to be trained and mobilized to share the Gospel. Each day had a specific focus:Ā
- prayer day
- share day
- care day
- dare day
Students were equipped then sent to live out what they learned through a practical activity. They learned to pray deeply, care for others with Christās love, and share their faith with the lost. They concluded the week by strategically planning how to apply what they learned back home and being commissioned to go and do it. It was a powerful week!Ā
Godās hand over the week was evident, as students truly embraced His calling, and lives were changed.Ā
During the weeklong event hosted at Colorado Christian University:Ā
- 450 students and youth leaders attended
- 1,686 total Gospel conversations took place
- 42 total decisions for Christ were made
Celebrate with us the incredible courage these students displayed throughoutĀ this event. Their dedication to reaching the lost and how they grew in their faith,Ā isĀ a testament to Godās provision and purpose for our lives. Ā
Throughout this yearās events and sessions, students were inspired to āLevel UpāĀ by striving to live as Christās ambassadors in a world full of dangers (seen and unseen).Ā They took on Ephesians 6:10-20 as their battle cry āfearlessly making known the mystery of the gospel.ā They realized the reality of the power within them through the Holy Spirit and the protection provided by the truth of Godās Word.Ā
It was amazing to see students embrace the full armor of God, piece by piece, as they learned from speakers Greg Stier, Zane Black, and Jerrod Gunter. They were empowered for Christās calling and grew confident in His presence and guidance.Ā

āLast day of Lead the Cause We had over 50 conversations and 19 of them we were able to share the Gospel! We also got to strategize how to use what we learned to Lead the Cause back home. We are looking forward to see what the Holy Spirit with do through these students.ā – Youth LeaderĀ
āLife changing is about the only word that describes this past week at Lead The Cause. I had the privilege of being asked to go along with our Mission Baptist Youth group figuring I would help all I could and learn some, not realizing how impacted I myself would be. āWarfare was real at LTC ā24ā¦.but our weapons are real ā¦we flipped the switch! (IYKYK šÆ) We are equipping a generation that is exposing the schemes and plans of the enemy; that is calling out lukewarm living and being the example of āall ināā¦we bringing back the all in Believer! Lead THE Cause was a transformative week for students and leaders, and we canāt wait to see how their ministries change as a result. This event changed lives, with many in Denver reached with the Gospel, as well as the friends and family members of LTC students as they sent letters and made phone calls sharing the Gospel. And the impact will continue as students take what they learned into their schools to reach their peers.
