LIVE Provides Discipleship Strategy for Home Turf

I’ve been a Student & Education Pastor for just over 23 years and have been partnering with Dare 2 Share Ministries since 1999. I discovered Dare 2 Share in the fifth year of my ministry and it completely changed my way of thinking and the way I approached my ministry to students.

Dare 2 Share conferences have been the one event that my students and I look forward to all year long. It is an opportunity to bring any student, regardless of their current walk with Christ, and see them leave changed. Lost students are saved, sideline Christians are re-energized and back into “the game,” and students who are already on fire go nuclear with the gospel. Then we go out into a strange city and share the gospel with complete strangers.

NOW, with Dare 2 Share LIVE, we have the opportunity to still experience all of those things, but in our own city! As we share the gospel, we can now follow up those conversations with a discipleship strategy to get those new Christians sharing the gospel and plugged into a ministry as well.

Mickeal Quillman, mostly known as Pastor Quill, has been the Student & Education Pastor at Community Fellowship Church since 2008. He and his wife Sharon have been in youth ministry together for over 23 years and have been involved with Dare 2 Share for 19 years. Quill’s passion is teaching students the Gospel and equipping and training them to be disciples who make disciples.

As a Certified Trainer with Dare 2 Share Ministries, Quill has the opportunity to coach and train other youth pastors to create a Gospel Advancing Ministry within their own church. When Quill is not at church, you will find him and Sharon enjoying time with their children Mickeal III, Matthew, Kaitlyn, and granddaughter Addilyn, as well as their German Shepherd Service dog Sam. Their happy place is the mountains of Colorado where they can relax and enjoy God’s creation all around them.
