As Corey Brooks prepared to host Dare 2 Share LIVE at his church in Bolt, WV, he saw God open door after door every step of the way. All Corey had to do was follow His lead.
A month before LIVE, Corey was invited to speak about the event to tons of local youth pastors at a conference. Talk about an efficient way to spread the word! God also gave Him favor at the local high school where he teaches.
Corey told Dare 2 Share, “Got great news today! The high school I work at is giving me a half day off to get set up for Dare 2 Share LIVE. [They’re] counting it as a professional day so there’s no pay cut. AND they are allowing me to select some students to help set up as a field trip! The students will learn how to set up a professional sound and light rig. All they have to do is write a paper about what they learned for their grade that day. How cool is that!!!”

- 9 different churches participated at their site
- 60 volunteers
- 200 people attended in total!
- 497 gospel conversations happened
- 8 students accepted Christ
- 1 community member was led to Christ by students during outreach
- 1,493 food items were collected

Now that LIVE is over, Corey is continuing to build his church network so that together, they can reach their community’s teens with the gospel. It’s humbling and exciting when God paves the way, and we love seeing youth pastors like Corey follow His lead!
