We just got over the crazy Christmas and New Year’s season, but with how fast time flies, summer will be here before we know it! If you’re contemplating bringing your students to Lead THE Cause this summer, here are four reasons why you should register now before you blink and school’s already out again.
1. Save some money for you and your students.
Even with lots of fundraising and cost-cutting efforts, money concerns always pop up when it comes to camps and missions trips. But if you register now, students and parents can pay less for LTC!
You can register for LTC in Los Angeles or Austin at the Super Early Bird rate for only $415 (a $110 savings) until January 21st, or while supplies last. Super Early Bird registration is sold out for Denver, Chicago, and Washington, D.C., but you can still get a $40 discount for these cities at the Early Bird rate of $485.
2. Get time on your side as you plan how to get to LTC.
While your group’s lodging, transportation, and meals will all be taken care of during LTC, you’ll still need to plan the logistics of getting your group there. Registering early gives you more time to coordinate transportation to the event so you’re not scrambling a few weeks beforehand.

3. Start praying now for your individual students.
Lead THE Cause isn’t just another fun week at church camp. It’s an intense week where students will be stretched beyond their comfort zones as they learn to share the gospel in the real world. Your students should be covered in prayer when they go to LTC. Registering early gives you time to strategically pray in the months leading up to LTC.
Consider asking people in your church to “adopt a student” to pray for, make a care package for, etc. to help encourage your students as they embark on this LTC mission trip.
4. Make time for important student and leader pre-event training.
Both students and leaders coming to LTC are required to undergo pre-event training, which can be found in the LTC Planning Guide within the Information Kit. This training helps students articulate their testimonies and learn to navigate gospel conversations before LTC even starts. For the leaders, this training helps your team create a bold vision and pinpoint goals for the future of your ministry.
You don’t want to rush or skimp on this important training, so register early to get the ball rolling!
