What has implementing Gospel Advancing done for you and your ministry?
Gospel Advancing vision and values have reshaped our ministry to the core. We no longer look at attendance at our events or how many new salvations we see (although those are good things). Instead, we’ve shifted our focus to train our students in their character, faithfulness to the mission, and boldness to share the Gospel personally and relationally with their peers.
What is one thing you see your students struggling with currently, and how are you approaching it?
Many of our students come from low-income families and unstable home environments. This school year, to help with this problem, we opened a youth room at the church. Besides our regular youth group, twice a week we host open hours with tea, coffee, and board games. Teens can come, chill, and hang out. It’s been so fruitful to have a safe space for students to build relationships with one another and their youth leaders.
If you would describe your ministry in three words, what would they be and why did you choose them?

We want our students to know Jesus personally as their Lord and Savior, grow in the discipleship process either individually or in a group setting, and show their faith by sharing it and living it out daily!
