Owen's boldness changed the community
A couple years ago, Owen attended Lead THE Cause for the first time. After camp, he went home and had the opportunity to share Christ with his friend Justus. As a result of Owen’s bold witness, Justus put his faith in Christ. Unfortunately, Justus tragically died in a car accident just a few months later. Over 800 students attended Justus’ memorial service where they heard the miraculous story of God’s grace… all because Owen had the courage to share his faith with a friend.
Owen's story is a huge reminder of why we do what we do
At Dare 2 Share, we devote our time towards mobilizing and equipping teens to share the Gospel, so that every teen, everywhere, hears the Gospel from a friend. Owen’s story is a tragic but a powerful reminder of why this mission is so critical. Because he attended Lead THE Cause, his friend Justus was saved just months before passing, and out of this devastating accident, 800 more teens were able to hear the Gospel.
