Here we are at the grand finale of the energize series “5 Keys to Nurturing a Faith-Sharing Focus”! Just in case, you haven’t been totally tuned in at every step along the way, here’s a bird’s eye view of what we’ve been unpacking…
Key #1: Pray! Pray! Pray! Prayer is the first and most important thing you can do to nurture a faith-sharing focus in your ministry.
Key #2: Live it! Modeling a life that lives and gives the gospel in word and deed is critical, since more is typically caught than taught.
Key # 3: Inspire! Helping your students discover their own motivations for sharing the gospel can help them catch a vision for the advancement of the gospel in and through them.
Key #4: Equip! Preparing your students to navigate gospel conversations from take off to touch down gives them the clarity and confidence they need to share their faith with their friends.
Key #5: Deploy! Helping our students become disciples who make disciples, not only transforms the lives of those they introduce to Jesus, it also helps them grow in Christlikeness and provides them with a clear sense of God’s mission and calling for their lives.

News Too Good to Keep to Yourselves!

Jesus’ message of love and forgiveness is too good to keep to ourselves! When we really “get it,” we naturally want to bring our hurting friends to Jesus. We want them to experience His love and forgiveness too.
Learn It
Let’s take a look at an example from the Bible about what this looks like.
Mark 2:1-5: When Jesus returned to Capernaum several days later, the news spread quickly that he was back home. Soon the house where he was staying was so packed with visitors that there was no more room, even outside the door. While he was preaching God’s word to them, four men arrived carrying a paralyzed man on a mat. They couldn’t bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, so they dug a hole through the roof above his head. Then they lowered the man on his mat, right down in front of Jesus. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “My child, your sins are forgiven.”
- What do you think motivated these guys to step up and get involved in helping their friend and bringing Him to Jesus?
- Could some of those same motivations serve to motivate you to help your friends who need Jesus?
- Are friendships important when it comes to introducing non-believers to Jesus?
- Are you willing to invite your friends out to youth group? Why or why not?
- Are you willing to initiate spiritual conversations and share your faith? Why or why not?
- Do you see yourself as the one who need to introduce your unreached friends to Jesus?
- Do you have a heart and a vision for reaching your friends and your school with the gospel? Why or why not?

- Who do you think God wants you to disciple in order to multiply the impact of THE Cause of Christ?
