Volunteer Testimonies

I am Janet, I have volunteered for ya'll around 5yrs and every time it is such a blessing to me. I really think that this ministry has helped me pull through so much, and go thru the storms knowing this to will pass. The letters and all you send on line as I read helps me myself to remember, that life maybe tough, but it makes us tougher and more determined than ever before. I love you all and I love D2S.  I pray our church will finally go  our teens need the experience of getting out and really telling people about the Gospel.  It will be a great and awesome experience for them.   Thank you very very very much....love ya'll.

I had a GREAT time volunteering for Dare2Share in D.C.! I was assigned to the merchandise booth and everyone there was really friendly and helpful.  The D2S staff that trained us were completely prepared and everything was organized and ran smoothly, at least as far as I could tell.  Our leaders asked us regularly if they could help us with anything and they kept us fully stocked so we didn't have to worry about that.  All of that made it really easy to converse with the conference attendees and be more attentive to them.  I just want to thank you for coming to our school and allowing us to serve with you.  It was definitely a positive experience that I'd like to repeat next year.  Please keep me on the list of people you contact when you're back in the area because I'd hate to miss it.  Thanks again!

I just wanted you to know about my experience with Dare 2 Share this year...I volunteered in a different area this year (the store) and found my spot.  I'll be there every year.  The weekend was so moving, I found myself choking back tears whenever I wasn't selling t-shirts. Second person affected was my son.  He finally turned 12 this year and was able to attend.  He said it changed his life! When he was telling me all about his experience,  I didn't realize how far from God he had strayed.  He decided the first night that he would be going next year.  I couldn't be happier! Third person affected was my sons friend and his parents.  During the cell phone challenge, my son called his friend and had a very brief talk.  He said he wanted to talk to him in person.  I was a little disappointed to hear this, but on Sunday, my son called his friend and asked him to the park.  He said they had a good talk and two weeks later the friend went to church with us.  He's gone a couple of times since then.  Then last week, my son told me his friends parents might try our church (they haven't gone to church in years)...Keep up the great work you're doing!  Being a single mom, I can't contribute financially, but I can find ways to volunteer each year, especially as soon as my younger son is able to attend.  I can't wait!

I must say that I had a lot of fun volunteering with you guys.  More often then not the staff had to tell me to go enjoy the conference when I just wanted to keep helping out, which is good because I was able to see some great stuff (like the drama, WOW) and hear some teachings that struck a chord with me.  The outreach I also enjoyed because it was something different than a lot of the conferences I went to where we just stayed in the arena/convention center and didn't go from there until it was all over.  I look forward to helping you out next year, the staff was fun to work with, and I enjoyed the experience quite a bit.

I just want to send a heart-felt thank you for allowing me and my brother, Matt to assist you all in the awesome experience of Dare2Share! Every single time I volunteer I am just blessed to the brim!

Seeing the teens experience a new life in Christ and being on fire for Him is so overwhelmingly amazing that I just can't help but come back every year! So sign me up for the "Invincible" tour next year!

What a great and fun experience..I have done volunteer work before but never with teens, SUPER AWESOME!!! I totally enjoyed it and are planning on doing it again next year. The energy and love for Christ was amazing and so encouraging. This is great for teens but sure as heck charges us older folks up! Thanks so much for the opportunity and God bless you:)

I just want to say Thank You for allowing me to be a part of the D2S conference this year. This has truly been a valuable experience not only from a industry stand point, but spiritually as well. I really enjoyed meeting and working with everyone, and I do in fact look forward to seeing you all again next year. I also thank God for giving me this opportunity to see what he is doing through you all to reach out to his young people. It's a beautiful thing to see young kids give their lives over to Christ. And I think it's even more awesome that he has blessed you all with the resources and the burden to develop an atmosphere that is open to teens and young adults coming together with their friends to worship & spread the Gospel. I know that you all will be prosperous in your ministries as you continue to lead this generation to his truth and for them to ignite their relationship with Him. Continue to press towards the mark, fight the good fight of faith, and fulfill the Great Commission. Always allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you in everything that you do. If any of you just so happen to swing by the Atlanta area once the conference is over, don't hesitate to contact me. Tell the rest of the D2S crew I said Hello. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

It truly was a privilege to be part of the prayer team!  God took care of so many immediate practical matters that weekend.  My fervent prayer that comes to my mind and heart is that each participant will have growth throughout the year and apply the things God placed on their heart. Thanks for all you guys serving God in such a powerful way!

I just want to thank all of you at Dare2Share ministries for the impact you make on the lives of our young people here in America. The Seattle conference was awesome!  Our teens shared their experiences at church today and one recommitted his life to Jesus Christ, another was challenged to step up and serve as a youth leader in the church, a young girl wept as she shared about her cell phone challenge and will do everything to share Christ to her friends in the days to come, and my son said he wants to join your staff in the future (I'll leave that in God's hands).  ---But not only did our teens have a great time, our adult volunteers had a blast.  Ten of us signed up to volunteer for part of the weekend, and we had so much fun doing it that we just pretty much served the whole time we were there.  So I shared that to the church today and I challenged all the adults to serve as volunteers next year.  I got them too excited that they were ready to be mobilized in a heartbeat.  Anyway, we would love to serve again!
