Does the devil have horns, hooves, a tail and a pitchfork?

If I were to ask you to draw a picture of the devil, chances are that your picture would contain horns, hooves, a tail and a pitchfork. For centuries the devil has been painted like this. But this cartoon devil is far from reality.

Satan was the most beautiful creation of God. Speaking to the devil, God reminds Satan in Ezekiel 28:12 that, "You were...perfect in beauty." There was no flaw in the devil. He was something to behold. He was drop dead gorgeous. And there is no indication in the Bible that he changed his look after the fall. As a matter of fact he picked the most beautiful creature in the garden to represent him when he tempted Adam and Eve.

The bottom-line is that we don't know what the devil looks like. No person on earth knows. But we do know this...he is not an ugly cartoon. He is real. He is beautiful. He is dangerous.
