Does God feel?
In the book of Genesis, it is clearly stated that all people are made "in God's image." Not that we are God, but we are like Him on a limited level. One of the ways we are like Him is that we feel: we have emotional responses- the ability to be happy, sad, angry etc. The fact that we have these emotions is proof that God has them as well, because we are made in His image. Therefore, God has within His nature the same range of emotions and feelings that we do, only multiply that times infinity. This was illustrated in the life of Christ (God in the flesh). When you read about the life of Christ, you see that He was angry, sad, joyful, discouraged, and so on. So, we can be assured that God can relate to all emotions that we feel. He knows what depression, joy, excitement, and disappointment feel like. You have a God who relates to you!
