Dare 2 Share: A Field Guide to Sharing Your Faith Testimonies
Imagine sitting on a crowded city bus with a book in your lap, and every word you read has everything to do with the people sitting all around you. Each time you look up, Greg Stier's candid call to God's Great Commission inspires, convicts, encourages, and empowers you to strike up a conversation about your faith in Jesus with the man across from you or even the girl two rows down who just sneezed. This was my experience with Dare to Share: a Field Guide to Sharing Your Faith. Written in a practical style, but packed with biblical truth, this guide relevantly addresses the problems and questions teens (or anyone for that matter) might face when it comes to evangelism. I loved the life stories, student testimonies, and tidbits of information scattered throughout the book. And true to its title, this is a book to read when around people, a "Field Guide" to refer to again and again .

The Dare 2 Share field guide is an amazing resource on relational evangelism for Jr. High and High School students, especially for those like me who are surrounded by the diverse religious beliefs of today.
I had been put off from sharing my faith by the heavy-handed tactics some Christians seem to use. This book cemented within me that most effective sharing is relational. Not only did Greg Stier explain why relational evangelism works and what it looks like, he also took it a step further and gave practical applications. The third part of the book was especially helpful in laying out the beliefs of each religion and giving great conversation starters.
This isn't a book to read once and forget-it's one to have handy for needed information and conversation starters.

WARNING: By reading Dare to Share: a Field Guide To Sharing Your Faith you run the risk of catching on fire for Jesus Christ, the Forgiver of sins, the Creator of life, the Alpha and Omega, your personal Savior, and sharing him everywhere you go with everyone that you meet. Reputations are on the line; Jesus Freak will be tattooed upon your forehead and people in your school will be worshiping Jesus Christ someday in heaven...right next to you! In this book, Greg Stier's energy for sharing his faith is outright contagious, from the first page I felt the Lord's gentle yet sudden stir in my heart to get out onto the field and tell my friends about our Saviors incredible love. Greg doesn't provide his own theories on telling others about Jesus, he provides several biblically based and relevant ways to share your faith with all of your friends. You can sit and read this book straight through or use it as a reference to reach a particular friend. Either way Dare to Share: a Field Guide to Sharing Your Faith provides you with ways to present the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ in creative ways bringing your friends into the loving and active relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ.

I picked up the Dare 2 Share Field Guide at the PK conference in Colorado Springs in August. I had seen it on the conference site and it reminded me of a Swiss Army survival guide. That was the hook. Your passion for the Cross and the Gospel are evident in the many vivid real-life parables you use to bring the rewards of Heaven and the punishments of Hell to the reader in a powerful way. The timing was perfect because I was able to read the entire book before our D2S conference in November in Denver. I was so impressed by the no-nonsense, yet loving techniques to share the Good News of Jesus Christ that I purchased 10 more copies to present to the kids I accompanied to the conference. The title A Field Guide to Sharing Your Faith is AWESOME, because this book is so streamlined in size and easy to reference the user can carry it and access the segues ANYWHERE, ANYTIME! I keep going back to it as a reference. Definitely not a "one-time" read. God continues to use Greg Stier in a POWERFUL way to reach more than one generation for Christ through the Dare2Share Field Guide.

I bought the Dare 2 Share book at the conference in Denver. I read the whole thing within like 2 days. (and that was only because I couldn't read it straight through all in one go!) I really enjoyed the book. It really helped me (even more) to become more bold in sharing my faith. It also helped me to learn about different religions and realize that we aren't competing with them, we are competing with Satan for their souls. I also enjoyed the part about the Salvation Segues. The hardest part about witnessing for me is bringing it up among my friends. Thank you, Greg!

I attended the Dare 2 Share conference in November. It was amazing. I saw this red book on the march table, and something about it lured me in. But I'm sure glad it caught my eye! This is the best book I've read on sharing your faith with others. Once you think you've learned it all, you turn the page, and Stier has even more tips on sharing your faith. There are many good things about this book, but I'll just say two of them. First, it has a really good section at the end of the book, of many different religions. It tells you how they disagree, and agree with Christianity, and it has conversation starters, and even compliments to use, when you're witnessing to your friends! Secondly, it expresses how when you witness to somebody, you have to Listen to them, and you have to Love them, one thing a lot of Christians miss when we witness. That's a theme that is expressed throughout the entire book. Greg Stier did an amazing job writing this book. So I encourage all of you, if you haven't already, go out and buy this book! It's a really great book, and I assure you, you won't be disappointed.

I really enjoy your latest book about sharing faith. The other day I came home from school and noticed this really cool book on the table, I picked it up and began to read (it was your book). About three or four months ago I accepted Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Savior, Healer, Strength, and Truth. I have been so excited to have a reason to live now, that my first thoughts as a believer were/and still are: " Gosh I just want to tell everyone about Jesus, Right now!" However, when I noticed that my closest friend was searching, I struggled figuring out a way to talk to her about the Lord, without overwhelming or freaking her out so much. Your book is an answer to my prayers and I want to say thank you very much. I brought it to school with me yesterday and was reading it during French class and the girl next to me said "Whoa! What's that? That book is so cool!" I handed it over to her and she got really nervous when she realized what it was about. Thanks for giving me a conversation starter at school, its much appreciated!

I am in love with this book. It is helping me witness to a secular humanist right now, and I loved it! Big props to Greg Stier, also, for helping me along with my faith...I rate it a 6 out of 5 stars!
