Wow! I can't even begin to tell you the power of what happened in Tanzania just a few weeks ago...
I took 5 students to Tabora, Tanzania, on the far eastern side of the country to work in two small villages. (You know the drill, no running water, no electricity, etc.) The villages were 75% Muslim...but get this, despite roadblocks over 5,000 came to Christ with all 26 American & 40 African participants.
It was so great to not only share the gospel using GOSPEL Journey, but it was so amazing to teach these believers how to share it. It watch students share with a teenager in Tanzania how God created us to be with Him, and Our Sins seperate us from God, etc., etc...it was FANTASTIC.
Thank you for your help in sharing the Gospel in Tanzania. By training our students to share their faith, and giving us the tools, we were able to share with the lost in Africa!

Dare 2 Share: A Field Guide to Sharing Your Faith
This book is an amazing resource on relational evangelism for students, especially for those like me who are surrounded by the diverse religious beliefs of today. I had been put off from sharing my faith by the heavy-handed tactics some Christians seem to use. This book cemented within me that the most effective sharing is relational. Not only did Greg Stier explain why relational evangelism works and what it looks like, he also took it a step further and gave practical applications. The third part of the book was especially helpful in laying out the beliefs of each religion and giving great conversation starters.

Ministry Mutiny: A Youth Leader Fable
I read Ministry Mutiny (in about 4 hours...I just couldn't put it down) after you gave it to me and I have a lot of initial responses. One response is that I didn't think I would like a book on student ministry written in a novel form. I'm not a big novel guy, but I love to read books on theology or church or leadership, and I thought that Ministry Mutiny did a good job of teaching the points that you wanted to get across. It was refreshing for me to see that someone else has the same philosophy of youth ministry that I do. As I was reading, I noticed that certain things that were vital parts of that youth ministry and particular 'Mutiny' principles were things that I considered important and have implemented in my ministry. I believe this is a book that every young youth pastor should read because it exposes and combats some pretty dangerous practices in youth ministry today. (I will be making this a part of the reading that my interns will have to read to get credit for their internship.) One note that I observed was just the amount of activity this fictional youth ministry was involved in. I have tried to simplify our ministry so that the important things are done with excellence. It just so happened that the things that I have considered important are some ministry mutiny principles. But, I appreciated the comment about the hard work of youth ministry that needs to be done. Perhaps that most important part of the book was the emphasis on the first point in hearing the whisper of God. That was a great point for me to be reminded about. Thanks.

Soul Fuel
I just wanted to tell you, personally, how much I appreciate SoulFuel. I am a youth leader at McLean Bible Church and we, as a church, teach our kids Student Life Bible Study. Ok well I am a Christian teen....and D2S's GOSPEL acronym actually led me to put my faith in Christ and I have believed ever since. I have actually helped 4 of my other friends join Christ by sharing the gospel.... I luv Jesus w/ all of my heart & I will always believe! I believe the Gospel is what works not because of me but b/c of what the Bible says....if it says it works then it works and that's all there is! I believe and Im sharin it with every person I can!

Dare 2 Share Scholarships
We are a very small church and the scholarship program got us here. We had one unbeliever, and 5 ministry kids. 1 ministry kid, 1 frequent youth goer, and the unbeliever ALL got saved this weekend. My other three made a solid commitment to share the Gospel and we are READY to impact our area with the GOSPEL!! If it weren't for the scholarship program these three would not have come to know the Lord in such a real way!

Venti Jesus Please
I have been in student ministry since 1997. I have given students more books than I can count to read over the years. This is the first and only book that students come back and say, "Can I get another copy of Venti Jesus Please? I want to give it to a friend but I want to keep my copy."
I have told students, "Give your copy away and I will always have some you can pick up another one." My small group of nine girls has given away 30 copies at last count! They have loaned copies as well. They tell me that students at school see them with the catchy title and cover and ask about it and then they enter into a conversation about spiritual matters and give them the book. Then a few days later, they follow up with them. One student said one of her friends read it that afternoon and called her that evening to talk about it! Several have won friends to the Lord as a direct result of reading this book!
This book helps make evangelism easy and natural for students. I think that youth ministers everywhere need to keep several spare copies around for students to give to their friends! Thanks for writing this awesome evangelism tool!
