So how do you like being lied to? Isn't it just awesome when people are dishonest, deceitful, and downright disjointed from the truth?

Not really. When people are lied to, they feel cheated and devalued. They are hurt because their trust and beliefs were based on a boatload of baloney.

I need to tell you that you might be the victim of a whopper lie. It is important for you to know this because this untruth has undone the very fabric of our society.

The lie is the idea that this fact is a lie:

And the LORD God formed a man's body from the dust of the ground and breathed into it the breath of life. And the man became a living person (Genesis 2:7)

This verse makes no bones about the origin of our species. We were created by God, and this fact leaves no room for evolution. This "debate" is not about scientific evidence, fossil records, or missing links. The real debate is whether or not the Bible is the inspired and truthful word of the Creator. If it is, then no amount of supposed "evidence" can make evolution true.

You may recall that the scientific community once claimed that the earth was flat. You might not recall that the Bible has already claimed for thousands of years that the earth is a sphere:

It is God who sits above the circle of the earth. The people below must seem to him like grasshoppers! He is the one who spreads out the heavens like a curtain and makes his tent from them. Isaiah 40:22,

When Isaiah wrote this verse, he used the Hebrew word chuwg to describe the shape of the earth. Although this word is commonly translated into the English word "circle," the literal meaning of this word is "a sphere!"

So tell me again why we trust the word of man over the word of God? Especially when the word of man is not always the most reliable. Like did you hear about a leading evolutionary scientist who has been LYING about his dating methods for 30 years? Oops.

Meanwhile, the word of God remains as reliable as ever, which means you can rely on what it says about the origin of the species. He is the origin and we have always been a human species. You know that creationism is true because God was there (being the only One) and recorded it the Bible in Genesis 1 and 2. The Bible has been proven true based on the tests of history, science and archaeology. It also proves itself true through hundreds upon hundreds of fulfilled prophecies and the resurrection of Christ. It has stood the test of time and scrutiny of countless critics. It stands alone on its own merits.

Maybe you're asking yourself, who cares? What does it matter whether I believe in creation or evolution?

Believe me, it matters. Do you remember how I mentioned earlier that the lie of evolution has undone the fabric of society? The reason I said that is because belief in this "process" is the foundation of a Satanic worldview.

Isn't that a bit strong?

I don't think so. If humans evolved from animals, then we humans are animals. It then becomes amazingly easy to decline into a nation where sex is worshipped and material possesions are our gods. As well, evolution takes away the image of God in people, thereby taking away the basis for the sanctity and value of life. When this happens, it becomes very easy for a society to then start passing insane laws that make it safer to be a whale than an unborn child.

Oh and did you know that Hitler was firmly convinced that evolution was a scientific fact? Look it up, Darwin's theories played a major role in Naziism, which I personally don't find to be a real positive worldview.

Am I saying that all evolutionists are Satanic Nazis? Absolutely not. But I am saying that the natural moral and philosophical outcomes of evolution clearly represent a quick and easy path to the Devil's plans for the world.

Here's the most important part. When you accept evolution, you reject the Bible as God's word. Just to recap:

And the LORD God formed a man's body from the dust of the ground and breathed into it the breath of life. And the man became a living person. (Genesis 2:7)

Is there something not clear about this verse? Or maybe Adam is just a mythical figure?

The Apostle Paul didn't think so:

Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come. (Romans 5:14)

Everyone dies because all of us are related to Adam, the first man. But all who are related to Christ, the other man, will be given new life. (I Corinthians 15:22)

For God made Adam first, and afterward he made Eve. (I Timothy 2:13)

Neither did Jesus' brother Jude:

Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men. (Jude 1:14)

Evolution does not recognize the creation of a literal Adam and Eve, but the Bible clearly repeats this fact!

Bottom line: it's time to stop believing the lie. Evolution is not an alternative theory to the origin of the species. It is part of a well-designed plan by the Enemy to undermine belief in God and His word, and when that happens...well, welcome to the jungle.

Head: What you need to know about this truth

The Bible, God's inspired and truthful word, teaches that humans were created by Him. Evolution teaches that humans came about as a result of an evolutionary process. Creation and evolution cannot both be true. If creation is true, evolution is false. If evolution is true, creation and therefore Scripture are false, which leaves us with no absolute truth.

Heart: What you need to feel about this truth

Concerned. The theory of evolution has done incredible damage to our nation and the world in terms of moral and spiritual decline. Concern should then motivate you to do your part in defending creationism and exposing the half-truths and full-on lies of evolution. You should also feel valuable because you are a special and unique creation of Jesus Christ instead of a great-great-great-great-grandson/daughter of some lower life form.

Hands: What you need to do about this truth

The evolution/creation debate is not going away, so any amount of time you put into studying the issues at stake will not be wasted. Over the next few weeks and months, block out some time to do some serious study on this issue. A couple books I'd recommend:
