Trent and Billy had just finished doing a devotional one morning during their Mexico Mission when they began talking about the challenge from the guided study to “bring the mission home.” The way they explain it, it was if they could see the light-bulb flash on above each others heads. An idea was born!
Before the school year even started phone calls were made, emails exchanged, and funds were raised so that the two and a few others could begin The Breakfast Club.
The Breakfast Club at Kentlake High is set to start soon, what’s happening at your campus? Perhaps you could start one or something similar in order to find entry points into the lives of your classmates? And if your a youth leader, you may just want to share this video with a student who is looking for a creative way to reach their campus!
Pancakes and a key question on a whiteboard have led to conversations about Jesus.
What’s a creative way you are reaching or looking to reach your own campus? Or is a student of yours doing something extraordinary when it comes to this? Please share!

This lesson is so pivotal for all people who go on short term mission trips today to get. God has called all of us who call ourselves disciples of Jesus Christ to be on mission for Him, around the world and especially in our own communities. I love the fact that God used a short term mission trip to the “uttermost ends of the earth” fire up these youth to reach out to their own communities, their “Jerusalem”, and evangelize and reach out and make more disciples!
